Now Accepting New Patients

Do you have a dental emergency? Please give us a call at 603-672-6546! Our dentists and team at New Hampshire Center for Comprehensive Dentistry do our best to respond to your problem promptly. We set aside time each day to be available for our existing patients requiring emergency dental care, and depending on availability, may also invite new patients into our office for emergency care.

If you’re in pain or discomfort, you should be seen as soon as possible. The following are some examples of dental emergencies:

  • Tooth pain
  • Broken tooth
  • Swelling of gum
  • Swelling of cheek
  • Sensitivity to hot or cold
  • Bad taste in mouth
  • Bleeding gums

Some of these may be signs of infection of your tooth or gum. Infection never resolves on its own and left untreated can progress and affect other areas of your body.

Your emergency dental appointment will be about 30-45 minutes, so you’ll have time to tell the dentist exactly what is going on for you. Your dentist will involve you in the exam to discover what is happening now and in discovering what may have caused the problem. You may have an X-ray or photographs if those will help in the diagnosis and aid in your understanding of the situation. Many times, the acute phase of an emergency is the “final straw” of a problem that may have existed unknown for some time. Helping you discover the reasons for the problem can help you stay out of emergency in the future.

Please do not hesitate to call New Hampshire Center for Comprehensive Dentistry if you have a dental problem or dental pain – we will always do our best to help.
